This chemical company needed a replacement to a high maintenance, hard to repair, small electric drive for air balancing a critical part of their process. CvL saw the perfect answer.
Three Matryx rack and pinion actuators mounted on 6" high performance butterfly valves with StoneL Eclipse limit switches used on an asphalt loading rack.
This 2" flanged ball valve is being operated by a Kinetrol 059 actuator with a StoneL Quartz limit switch. CvL built 35 of these in one week, much to the delight of the end customer.
Here's a CvL workhorse. A Xomox high performance butterfly valve with a Kinetrol vane actuator. This example happens to be an 8" valve to be used on water, but the applications for these combo's range from 3 " to 30", handling everything from hot water to hot acid.
The customer asked for a 3/4" 2500 psi gate valve for high pressure steam with one twist - he needed limit switches to tell a computer if the valve was open or closed. CvL did them one better - a compact specialty ball valve designed for high pressure steam along with a StoneL Quartz limit switch. This approach save the customer thousands of dollars and made for a much more reliable design.
